Employment Law Helpline Consultant (Grantham) 18k, 25 days holiday and flexi-time
The Company:
Our client is a highly respected and well established Consultancy in the field of Employment Law and Health & Safety. Due to continued success and a high demand for their services they are now looking to recruit an additional Employment Law Helpline Consultant to support their Helpline consultants. Situated in a prime location in the centre of Grantham this company offers a professional, supportive and positive working environment.
The Role:
The helpline role involves providing advice and support to their client base via the telephone on a wide range of employment law matters. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of employment law and it’s application in a practical setting. You will have a good telephone manner and will work well under pressure. There are some requirements to visit clients therefore the successful candidate will also well presented.
You will hold a good legal degree and possibly a post graduate qualification such as BVC or LPC or have employment law experience in an HR role, and will be able to show evidence of customer service experience. You will be IT literate with a reasonable typing speed.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Legal (degree, LPC, BVC or Masters) and/or HR professional qualifications (degree, CPP, CIPD). * Solid experience in providing employment law advice and solutions to clients. * Good knowledge of law on employment contracts. * IT literate (MS Office). * Professional attitude, even when under pressure. * Professional approach, giving credibility when dealing with clients. * Good communicator, verbally and in writing.
